The existence of a church at Cullen was first recorded in 1236, and again in 1275.
Visit the Auld Kirk and find out all about its fascinating history and about Queen Elizabeth de Burgh, second wife of Robert the Bruce, whose ‘interiores partes’ were buried in the church.
Open: 2pm – 4pm on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays in September.
Volunteer guides will be on duty to give a history of this 12th century building.
Free admission.
