Every September thousands of people across the UK head to the coast to take part in the Great British Beach Clean. This year’s event is taking place between Friday 15th – Sunday 24th September 2023.
The Great British Beach Clean is a week-long citizen science event, where hundreds of beach cleans take place up and down the UK.
Join us to help look after our marine envionment at Cullen beach for a beach clean. The beach cleans are great for young people undertaking Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme or working towards youth organisation awards, or just looking to give something back and volunteer.
Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Meet by steps to beach by golf club house/public toilets 10 minutes before the start time.
We will provide you with a litter picker, rubbish bag and optional gloves but if you have your own please feel free to use your own.
